QUICK GUIDE

ADDING

To add a musician, movie, etc, click on the ADD button at the top of the page, or browse a category, and press the ADD button on that page. Alternatively, if you search for something that does not exist, you are give the option to add the item. The final method in adding something is if you are viewing a page, and would like to make a match-up. At this point click the MATCH-UP button.

After you have entered the name of the item you'd like to add, a search is done to see if the item exists, offers a variation of the spelling, etc. Click the ADD button next to the one you would like. If the item already exists, and you are creating a new link, you can also click the LINK button.

LINKING

To create a link between one item and another, simply browse to the item you would like to create the linking with. Then click the MATCH-UP button. Then enter the name of the item you would like to create the link with. If it is a unique item, you will be asked if you'd like to create it as a new item. Otherwise, link suggestions will appear. Click LINK beside the item you would like to link with.

EDITING DESCRIPTIONS

To edit a description of the item, simply click the EDIT DESCRIPTION button. Then, you may add/change/remove as much as you like. Please insure the integrity of the material you add, and do not infringe on copyrights. Also, no blasting, slamming, mindless promoting. These will be removed. Refer to "RULES" for more details. Bold, italics and links are allowed in descriptions, refer to the chart on the Edit Description page.

RATING: AGREE/DISAGREE

This was designed so that you may rate a comparison. If you feel there's a good comparison, click "AGREE" otherwise, click "DISAGREE". This will move items up/down the list, and provide more reliable results. If an item receives many "DISAGREES" the linking will still exist, however it will appear at the bottom.

FLAGGING

Flagging has been put in place for inappropriate content, mispellings, and to generally promote the integrity of this site. If you feel an item should be reviewed, click the FLAG FOR REVIEW button, select one of the options, and an administrator will review the item as soon as possible.
